Growing up in the East and now living in the West, Pamela Chen may be trilingual but her cooking style is definitely Asian as her heart belongs to her Taiwanese homeland. The kitchen is Pamela’s creative studio where she fuses Western cooking techniques with aromatic Eastern flavours, firmly believing that all of the five senses should be engaged by her fresh, light, eclectic dishes.

Pamela combines her love of cooking, her design background and her cultural heritage to create a unique, authentic culinary experience for both her audience and guests that brings Asian street food to the Western table. Fast paced and colourful, this style of cooking is also ideal for vegan and vegetarian diets as the myriad of flavours is achieved through the layering of a range of ingredients which can be tailored to different palates. Whether in an intimate setting or in an auditorium Pamela will inspire and delight as she guides the room along her personal spice trail and like all great adventures, the journey is as exciting as the destination.

Pamela is based in the UK but her culinary expeditions take her all over the world as she introduces people to her signature taste of Asia, working on bespoke commissions and at events for international clients and brands.
