What a lovely evening of my Chef’s Table event in the beautiful setting of the Gatehouse at Lord Crewe Arms (Northumberland, UK)– amazing supportive staff, lovely diners who were keen to get their hands dirty and were great company!
I love teaching, love demystifying oriental cookery— the lightbulb moments and the enthusiasm from the audience are wonderful to watch, every time! Making magic with simple ingredients and creating beautiful food is important to me, and of course it’s wonderful seeing people enjoying my foods, but ultimately, for me, it’s about BRINGING PEOPLE TOGETHER WITH GOOD WHOLESOME FOOD– seeing and feeling the relationship-building around the dinner table is simply gratifying.
I firmly believe making time to eat and chat together is one of the most important cornerstones of family life, and is one thing I’m never too shy to shout about. Whether I’m teaching classes or doing live shows, sharing my knowledge & skills to enable and encourage people to do just that is why I do what I do!
Cook together, eat with your special people, enjoy it and keep talking!!
